Master suites, family rooms, sunrooms, and bedroom-and-bath additions. We handle the engineering, footings, framing, and finishes, matching the existing roofline and siding so the addition integrates with the original structure.

Custom cabinetry, stone countertops, tile, lighting, and the layout changes that improve how the room functions. We remove walls, relocate plumbing and electrical, and design the kitchen around how your family uses it.

Tub-to-shower conversions, full remodels, custom tile showers, and new bathrooms built into spaces that previously had none. Tile work requires precision, and we take the time to do it correctly.

Converting existing space is the most cost-effective way to add usable square footage. We convert garages into offices, bedrooms, and suites, and finish unfinished attics into conditioned living space, fully insulated, climate controlled and built to code.

We perform most of our design work in house, helping you develop a plan that is functional and buildable within your budget before you invest in a full set of drawings.
About Stenersen Construction
Stenersen Construction was founded in 2023 by Kyle Stenersen, a licensed NC building contractor (#102776) with extensive experience across southeastern North Carolina. We are a family business supported by our crew and a group of longtime trade partners. We use the same electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and finish carpenters on every project, which is how we maintain consistent quality. We take on projects ranging from single-room renovations to whole-home remodels and additions.
